I had a moment one evening and started writing. What came out was more of a confession than I’d expected, but it cleared my mind all the same.

My name is Ever. I live in New England. I believe in magic. And I love vegetables.

I’m older than a lot of people, but I’m not old. And that’s not a philosophical statement. I’m not old at all. But I don’t feel young either. Some would say I’m in my “prime”. I hope not. My prime should be further down the road still. Should be.

So I’ve turned what I wrote that night into blog post number one, “The Breaking Point“. From here on out, the updates in this blog are going to track the story from that night as a starting point. It might be embellished and fictionalized to some extent, but largely, I’m going to keep it honest. Honesty is something I’ve had problems with in the past, so maybe the magic here is to work that out.

I hope the story doesn’t end up too terribly boring. I love to write, and that said, I do intend to write with intelligence, style, and insight.
